白山黑水- 陈曦光、王玉峰、姜天宇三杰联展,他们是来自吉林省的三位老中青艺术家,在各自领域有杰出的成就和贡献。今次结伴来狮城作文化交流,希望同本地艺术界同道和艺术爱好者作友谊交流来往。
            陈曦光教授在东北是著名的教育家、水彩画家,曾获吉林省文联分发“世纪艺术金奖”。东北师大美术学院院长王玉峰教授,长白山画院院长刘国教授曾是陈老的学生。他俩十分推崇陈老师的水彩画作品。今次带来21幅精选水彩画作品,并由女儿和孙女陪伴前来办展和游玩。
            王玉峰教授曾于2012年在新闻艺术部展厅雅殿举办过个人油画展,得到热烈反应。王教授于今年二月份升任为东北师大美术学院院长。今次带来10幅油画新作和12幅国画和大家见面。
            姜天宇先生为东北师大美术学院讲师,有深厚扎实的绘画根底。今次带来30幅令人耳目一新的新派黑白油画作品参展。
            三位同是来自东北大地,但不同时代的杰出艺术家同场展出各自的精选佳作,将会带给本地艺术界一个惊喜。我们作为艺术推广者,此画展作为对国庆的献礼。
The Beauty of Black and White by Chen Xiguang, Wang Yufeng & Jiang Tianyu
– a showcase of three remarkable artists from Ji Lin (China). Each of them is a true gem of its own. A rare opportunity to view their masterpieces and interact with them in Singapore.
Professor Chen XiGuang, a famous educationist and watercolorist, has been awarded by Ji Lin’s government the “Golden Century Artistic” Award. 21 pieces of his excellently painted watercolour artwork will be exhibited. Accompanying him is Prof. Wang Yu Feng, Dean of Northeast Normal University. Prof. Wang was once the art mentor for Prof. Liu Guo, Dean of Chang Bai Shan Art College.
Prof. Wang Yu Feng held a successful solo art exhibition in Singapore in 2012. 10 pieces of oils and 12 pieces of Chinese Ink will be represented by him in this current show.
The highlight of this show being the artistic ability of Jiang TianYu, a lecturer of Northeast Normal University, to present traditional western oil technique using purely Black and White – a fresh and daring approach fine arts! He is showcasing 30 pieces of his artwork in this exhibition.
The Trio, though originate from the same vast Northern, but each has his unique expression of artistic forms.  Come to meet them to experience a fresh taste of art as we celebrate SG49.

Huang Xiong Wen is a successful professional painter, graduated in 1992 from the faculty of Fine Arts in Guangxi Normal University, majored in oil painting. He is known for painting human figures, animals and landscapes. Recently, he has smartly created thirty pieces of oil painting depicting the graceful life of the giant panda, the national treasure of China.

We present to you Mr Aw Hong Meng, a Singaporean Artist. His 43 pieces of artworks range from traditional Chinese Ink Painting of fishes, birds, and flowers to abstract art of a minority tribe in New Zealand.

我们为艺术爱好者呈现出胡鸿明先生(新加坡公民),遗作展。此画展一共有43幅画作,其中有传统的中国画,题材包括了花鸟和鱼。除此之外还有其抽象画,描绘了新西兰的少数民族,色彩鲜艳。

Wang Moping, Professional Artist and Member of Singapore Art Society, migrated to Singapore in 2001. He was an Associate Professor at the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts from 1995-2003 and lectured at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art from 2002-2006. His art works have been collected by local and overseas galleries and private collectors. In this art exhibition entitled “BLESSINGS FROM ABOVE”, Mo Ping uses 35 pieces of oil paintings to express his love for nature and his gratitude to God, who has given mankind His blessings; which include the artist’s creations too. This exhibition showcases scenes close to the heart of the artist. Fruits, flowers in bloom, kampong scenery are creatively expressed through the unique language of the artist.

大唐艺苑为大家带来两位新加坡著名画家 - 赖瑞龙 与 范少华 的彩墨和油画作品展
 
赖瑞龙 (生于1946年)新加坡当代水墨画实力派画家。他师承海派,融合岭南,立足南洋,历四十多年的苦练,打下深厚的基础,拓出深厚,奔放,个性鲜明的水墨世界。他的画作墨色千变万化,气韵生动,水墨淋漓贯穿整个画家,给人一种清气照人,爽朗的韵味创作继承传统的梅兰竹石,花鸟草虫,但他追求自然,大胆用色,笔触多变,层面缤纷,融入南洋特色,倍添情趣,这就是赖瑞龙笔墨动人之处。
 
范少华 (生于1963年)看范少华的作品有一种强烈的视觉冲极力。这力量来自画家积极的创作热情,他给传统水墨画注入新生命,写意的手法融入在他结合了传统水墨的长处和现代的抽象语言探索自然的调和,呈现丰富的质感,创出一种全新的视觉享受。范少华是位多才多艺,性情温和,纯朴。他的艺术生产中有着一股力求完美有着精湛的写实功力,在他追求蜕变的过程中,有着强烈的构思气魄,画中揉和了褶皱肌理效果增添作品中的姿态。一位艺术家的贡献,在于它的学养和追求, 满有抱负的他,定有一番成就,这种成就已在他的作品中显现无疑。这20多年来分别在北京、香港、澳门、马来西亚、法国、日本、新加坡举办画展。

Mr. Choo has had a distinguished career in the Singapore Arts scene spanning over 20 years. Prior to his current role as the CEO of Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), he was the President of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) from 2003 to 2014, and served as CEO of the National Arts Council (NAC) from 1996 to 2003.
 
Mr Choo is formally trained in Chinese calligraphy.  His love for calligraphy began at a tender age of 11, when he started by teaching himself the basic brushstrokes. He has come a long way since then, having continued his practice to hone his skill over the past 50 years, including 20 years of training under the locally renowned calligrapher, Mr Chang Sow Yam. While this is his first solo exhibition with Da Tang Fine Arts Singapore, he has previously participated in group exhibitions, and has regularly presented his calligraphy art works to close friends and family. Mr. Choo is also well-versed in and a published-writer of Chinese classical poems, producing his first collection of personal poems in 2001. Mr Choo is a unique and well-rounded calligrapher. He marries his deep knowledge in Chinese classical poems, as well as in Chinese language, history, philosophy and culture, with his masterful skill in calligraphy to produce original and meaningful calligraphy art works.
 
Mr Choo was educated as a horticulturist, having received his Bachelor in Horticultural Science from Lincoln College, University of Canterbury, and his Masters in Urban Forestry from Australian National University (ANU), both under Singapore’s Colombo Plan Scholarship. Prior to his career in the arts, he was with then Parks and Recreation Department (P&R), which later became the National Parks Board (NParks) for 20 years, rising to Deputy CEO before leaving in 1996. 
 
Over the years, he has served as Chairman, President or Board Member on various cultural organizations and institutions, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, School of the Arts, and presided as Chief Judge of the UOB Painting of the Year for a number of years. Currently, he is the Chairman of Tote Board Arts Fund, Director of Singapore Chinese Orchestra Company Limited, Independent Director of Composers and Authors Society of Singapore Limited (COMPASS), Director of Ding Yi Music Company Ltd, Member of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd Chinese Newspaper Division Advisory Panel, Chairman of National Chinese Music Competition Advisory Committee,  President of General Society for Chinese Classical Poetry (International), and Chairman of MCI’s Broadcast/Publication/Arts Appeal Committee.
