Choo Keng Kwang, PBM/PBS (b. 1931) had contributed to the success of cultural diplomacy. Several of his famous ‘Harmony Doves’ series have been presented as state’s gifts to royalty, dignitaries and governments. His works are still well-sought after in international auctions. He is a great master in painting animals and depicting the nostalgia of Singapore.
 


Choo Ai Loon (b. 1959), daughter of Choo Keng Kwang, has developed a deep passion for various orchids. Her artistic creations are intricate and captivating; so real that one could smell the fragrance of the flowers in bloom. Her floral series is a great manifestation of Singapore being a City in a Garden.

融合东西，三足南洋，一名土生土长的资深画家朱庆光先生，从殖民地到独立之建国时代，风云的经历，社会生活的体验，一步一脚印，长期的实践中研磨出深厚扎实的写实功力。画家年轻时在乡村从事教育工作，生活纯朴，热爱大自然，他画作的体裁取自现实生活和自然景观，农村里的生活景物，花草、树木、小鸡、小狗、游鱼、走兽、尤其 是鸽子，是他的代表作， 他为捕捉鸽子的各种神态，还特地做了一个大笼子，养了十多只鸽子，画出一幅幅和谐精美栩栩如生的鸽子。
朱先生的绘画风格有南洋热带风土民情。作品中融合油画的光色结构，展现浪漫情怀有充满安详意境，给观者一份温暖亲切的感觉，更具特色的是他五六十年代老街市集，如：牛车水、潮州街、结霜桥等，反映出当时的精神面貌，记录了一个时代的变迁，给后代留下了历史篇章，70年代邮政局也采用了四幅牛车水作品作首日封和邮票以作纪念。
84岁老当益壮，喜庆建国50周年，朱庆光先生在次的呈现他近期佳作以及部分旧藏品。
